Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Old Clarence

Seemingly now run by Stout & Stone Inns rather than Stonegate, this large suburban 'Brewers Tudor' pub was doing surprisingly good business on a Wednesday evening. The partly opened-out L-shaped main bar (with a pool table on a slightly raised area at the back) was busy, as was the rear patio beer garden, and the smaller side lounge was full with a private function. Wasn't sure whether it would still be doing cask ale, but it does in the form of Doom Bar and Purity's Mad Goose (£4.50) from the bank of three handpumps.
