A good walk from Bedworth centre ,quite a good looking pub on a busy road with a distinct two room layout, public bar to the left which was pretty basic with pool and darts. The lounge to the right has a large wrap around bench seat in bright fabric ,some traditional tables and a larger seating area at a lower level. In both rooms flatscreens dominate although the sound will be mute during the Wednesday pub quiz.
It's a tidy looking interior with parquet flooring in the lounge and the island bar is attractive.Just two real ale Wye Valley Butty Bach and TT Landlord (£4.30,clear but developed a tang down the pint,NBSS 2)
A lively well used pub by the locals but not enough to justify a revisit.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Old Black Bank
Quite an imposing pub, theoretically in Exhall but to all intents and purposes in Bedworth. Busy in the main, elongated lounge bar / dining area on the right-hand side with the regular pub quiz when I visited, with the smaller public bar housing the pool table and dartboard. With a duplicated selection from a pair of handpumps on each counter, I found Landlord and a reasonable Butty Bach (£3.65).

Feeling like part of Bedworth but actually just over the border in West Midlands, this is a coal mining community pub, as the pub sign makes clear. It's a large and handsome roadside pub, with two large rooms either side of a central bar. I went in the left hand side, but this is set up like a sports bar, with just one other customer and his dog, so I asked the woman who served me to put me beer round the other side, where the action appeared to be. People in here were very friendly, engaging me in conversation and finding out about my trip to Bedworth and Coventry. Beers available here were Bass, Wainwright and Greene King Abbot, and my half of Bass was fine. The pub is deeper on the right, with dining tables going back a lot further than expected, but in the front part it was comfortable and airy, with the big front windows providing plenty of light. It's a short enough walk from Bedworth station with an hourly service, or there are frequent buses to or from Coventry.
