Strongers . left this review about The Ivy House / Rosie Malone's

This building is three venues in one and they keep interchanging names, hence now being named ‘The Ivy House / Rosie Malone's’. The Ivy House is an upstairs cocktail bar / restaurant and also a late night cellar bar, both accessed via a covered decked terrace. The Ivy House was closed during an attempted Monday evening visit, although their website and Facebook page both say that they open on Mondays. Anyway, the third venue is a street-level bar called Rosie Malones which houses a serving counter by the entrance and seating up the rear to a little stage on the rear wall. Unsurprisingly there’s lots of Oirish paraphernalia on the walls, this feels very much like a student weekend venue. Standard and premium keg was available so I order a half pint of generic lager from the polite barmaid. She either served me a half of cider or it was the worst drink I’ve ever been served in a UK pub. Being the only customer I decided to cut my loses and leave.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Ivy House

Funny little building, given a thorough refurbishment (both inside and out) so rather more inviting than previously. You enter via a small covered decking terrace, and then find a 'L'-shaped bar with sparse, plain furniture and Banksy print decor (which actually works quite well). Food offered (including breakfast menus, although still on the tables in the late afternoon...). No real ale, unfortunately, so went for the Purity Longhorn IPA (£4.20) from amongst the keg offerings.
