Recently refurbed and reopened again! I called in early for the buffet style breakfast and it was very good. Great value at just under a Tenner for all you could eat! I didn't notice the beers on sale so I'll have to call again!

Old Peculiar left this review about The New Wellington
Refurbed and reopened, after a short closure, the outside mural advertises Enville and Old Swan beers. Sadly the inside doesn't match the promise; it's a large open space with all the tables being set for food (an all-day carvery is available)and little atmosphere. There are 6 handpulls on the bar, but only 3 are in use, offering Enville bitter, Enville ginger and Old Swan Bumblehole, plus a selection of the usual fizzy stuff.
Having said that, the Bumblehole was a good pint and the staff were very welcoming, pity there were so few in. Hopefully it will flourish, but a dedicated drinkers area wouldn't go amiss.
