Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Kings Head
Basic town-centre boozer with a pool table but little else in the way of furniture, presumably because live music music is the main feature here? There is also a very plain patio at the back, with the bay windows on either side of the entrance being the only feature of note. No real ale, unfortunately, so I ended up with the Boddington's (£2.20) from the very limited keg options.

This is a terraced pub and live music venue, with a rear patio with lots of sofas (bizarrely). Victorian at least, it has two bay windows that run the height of the building, with a central entrance. It is in cream render, with green paintwork - now looking a little tired. The interior has a single room, though the entrance shows there used to be rooms to the left and right. It is in red and white, with a black fireplace, with burner fire. There is a wood floor. There is a pool table and dart board. The seating is a curious mix of bench seats and 1950s diner stools. Rock music posters decorate the walls. Music came from the jukebox, at a decent level. The TV had horse racing on. The service was functional and the place had several mature locals in. Beer; usual tap stuff with Banks's Bitter and an OK MILD on handpull. The place has seen better days - one for the locals.
