The Holly Bush was an ugly looking estate pub that was situated in a fairly quiet residential area just off high street.
Once inside the pub had two rooms with a smart lounge and a basic bar,i had a drink in the bar.
The pub was a Bathams tied house and there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Bathams bitter and this was a really nice drink,the other beer was Bathams mild.
The pub was very quiet on my Friday dinner time visit.
This pub has now been pulled down and there are now houses on its site.
what a shame to have lost a Bathams tied house with them having so few in the first place.
