Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Old Hare & Hounds
Ember Inn located on the edge of the Birmingham conurbation beside the Lickey Hills Country Park. Definitely more attractive externally than within the comprehensively remodelled and refurbished interior which has lost any character the older parts of the building might once have had. Disappointingly too, the choice of real ales from a total of 11 handpumps amounted to just their own (Black Sheep) pale ale, Bombardier and Old Hooky (£3.40).

An Ember Inn on main road out of Birmingham, but also on the edge of the Lickey Hills.
This is a nice example of an Ember, roomy inside with their usual modern touches, but it retains individualality, such as the 'iron' pillars around the room. Comfortable, easy going and alround a nice pub. Its location on the ourskirts of the City and getting rural have probably helped
5 real ales - UBU, Old Spec Hen, Taylors Golden Best, Brew 11 and Rev James, beep was kept fine
