I used to drink in the Midland Hotel on the odd Saturday night after returning from the football. It could get a bit "lively" in here!

Location of Enoch Powell's 'Rivers of Blood' speech. The Midland had a popular public bar back in the 80s, but this has gone. The Hotel is now the Burlington Hotel, but it doesn't appear to have its own public bar any longer.
