This is a detached 1960s pub, with patio. It is typical of the period, being in plain brick, with a central 'house' and low level extension. There is a little red paintwork to give some needed colour. The interior has two room, but the lounge was closed. The bar is off to the right on entry and has a pool table and dart board. It is a square room, and in light grey, white with some red. The chessboard floor was in need of a wipe over. The seating is red perimeter, with thables and mixed chairs. The TV wasn't on and there was no music. A few sport themed photos were on the walls. The service was friendly and the place had a few locals in. Beer; no real ale, just the usual taps with M&B MILD. I just had a shandy. A solid enough locals' estate pub, just nothing for a real ale fan.
