A terraced pub, in what has always been an industrial area. It is difficult to date, although it has certainly been a pub since the 1950s - but may date back to WWI. It is a simple brick upper, in white, with a green lower frontage that has patio doors to open the pub out in summer, I guess. The interior is a single room with a pool table at the end. It is in wood, white wood and brick - and feels like an industrial unit. There are a few TVs, which were connected to the karaoke that nobody was singing on. There is also a jukebox. There are no pictures, just a mirror over a forlorn fireplace. The service was fine and a few mature locals were in. Beer; no real ale, no keg MILD - just basic taps. Overall, it doesn't have a lot to make it work finding out. One for the locals.
