Wedge shaped small street corner local, as stated its an ongoing survivour. Small, basic bar but fits in a pool table, seems a bit of an unused local & maybe needs a bit of TLC? No bitter, not even keg on draft so drinks are limited. Lager or cans are the only ber options

A detached Victorian corner pub, a survivor considering so much of the area has now been swept away. It is a V-shaped pub, with a brick upper and a white stucco lower. It has its old corner entrance and does rooms as well. The interior has a couple of rooms, although the lounge was in darkness at my visit. The bar room is on the corner and has a pool table. It is in red and cream, and both the walls and the blue bench seats have seen better days. The was no music, although there is a juke box, and the TV had Emmerdale on. The service was friendly and the clientele was local and mixed, as well as there having a good community feel. A few old pictures are on the walls and the old fireplace has been blocked and a few portable heaters were being used. Beer; well, three handpulls that had no real ale - the Bitter and MILD taps didn't dispense either. I had half of lager shandy. One for the locals, nothing for the real ale fan.
