This is a nice large detached undressed brick pub/eatery, with double front gables and a patio area.
The interior is open plan, but has two areas. The area to the left on entry is a bar area, with pool and darts, the area to the right is, with some partitioning, a lounge/eating area, though it still at least feels like a pub, rather than a food factory - i didn't eat so can't comment on that. The decor is generally; red, white, yellow, with wood panel and a cream colour ceiling. There are a couple of fireplace features, one wood panelled, with small tiled fire, the other an undressed brick feature, with a stove. There were old photos on the walls, along with odd bits of ephemera. There werve several TVs, with general tele on them, the service was fine, the clientele mixed.
Beer; sadly, all tap stuff, without even a MILD. No real ale. I had a pop, as i had just played footy and was thirsty.
Such a shame there was no real ale, or MILD - no point in visiting if these are your drinks. If not, then pop in!
