Suburban local on a busy road. There are a couple of rooms. I originally chose the left-hand room, seemingly a games room with a dartboard, pool table, games machine and a TV (switched off). There are bare boards, signed England rugby and football shirts on the walls with further rugby and football memorabilia. A fireplace contained a wood burner.
The room to the right-hand side appears to be the main bar, partly carpeted and with multiple TVs and a large projector screen. One TV was showing live tennis during my visit with no sound. There is a DJ booth in one corner and there is also a games machine. Walls are pained red and cream and have a few black and white pictures of Warwick scattered around. There are another couple of small fireplaces. There is also an outdoor yard to the rear and a few more picnic tables near the front entrance.
I didn't initially spot the solitary handpull in the right-hand room. It was sporting a 6X clip. Ciders were Strongbow & Strongbow Dark Fruit. There were plenty of promotions on the walls for various pints of lager. Shots of Jagermeister were also being promoted. It looks like cash is preferred here. There is a minimum card spend of £5.
The pub has various events including a quiz every Tuesday. A wifi code is provided behind the bar. With just 2 other customers (1 in each room) and the barmaid when I arrived, there was very little atmosphere. It seems very little has changed since the last review on here from 9 years back. I concluded that it must get busier in the evenings and at weekends. Otherwise, how does it survive?

Largish roadside pub on a scruffy stretch of the road between Warwick and Leamington. No doubt once a thriving community local but now on that familiar downward spiral: fewer people go in, it looks emptier and less welcoming, fewer people still go in and it ends up with a bit of passing trade and those who are there for need rather than pleasure. Its only redeeming feature is the terrace out front, where you can while away half an hour watching the comings and goings of the chip shop and Chinese takeaway across the road.
One unclipped handpump, which may dispense Doombar on a good day.

A detached white and grey painted stone clad pub consisting of two buildings, with a front patio
The pub had two rooms, but we went into the the bar where there was a pool table and dart board and a sofa. The decor was white and brown panel, with wood floor. The service was OK, the music at a decent level and the clientele, well the only person we saw was a bit tipsy to say the least and wanted to play us at pool - we drank up and left.
Beer; tap stuff, with GK IPA and an ok Slaughterhouse Bitter on handpull.
I felt it was a bit on a non-entity really, with the basic beer choice; GK IPA and slaughterhouse is everywhere in Warwick.
