Very Smart Pub inside and out, catering for diners but also serving the drinkers with a bar area.
Good things - Service and Sunday Lunch - both very good.
Not so Good - Beer Range and quality - Greene King IPA, Rev James and a disappointing Brakspear Bitter which was a touch too cloudy for my liking.

A pleasant village local which has been refurbished and extended in contemporary style to provide three distinct areas. Thankfully the accent is on being a pub with restaurant. It won't be to everyone's taste but it retains a homely feel that more corporate managements seem keen to lobotomise away. Everything spotless and a nice garden too. Just GKIPA available when we called but I gather there is usually a wider selection. It's never going to be a destination pub but it serves its community perfectly well and is worth a look if you fancy a break from the A46.
