Strongers . left this review about The Phoenix
The Phoenix is an L-shaped bar with that décor that gives off a Moroccan vibe. The bar counter along the left wall supports premium keg alongside Carlsberg and two of the three handpumps were unused leaving Hook Norton’s Off the Hook as the lone cask option. The service was polite, but there were a few very sweary locals in attendance. I’ll not be rushing back.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Hole In The Wall
The Hole in the Wall is a Modern pizza bar, with loud music and four banks of shiny chrome fonts serving up an array of lagers. No real ale to be found here.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Slug & Lettuce
The Slug and Lettuce is on a busy road away from the main tourist areas of Stratford.
When i visited this pub it was a proper pub and i dont think it is part of the Slug and Lettuce chain though i may be wrong on that.
Once inside the pub was fairly smart and comfortable and it was also very quiet on my visit, there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Tetley bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Ansells bitter.
This was a decent enough pub to have a few drinks in.
