Crown Inn- Pubmaster Newbold
This pub is 1980’s modern roadside pub, it has been recently refurbished, but does have a great collection of Rugby memorabilia, including old photos, old and new shirts, some of which were on loan from Rugby Museum. There were locals enjoying their lunchtime pint, and it had a nice quiet rear garden. Real ales included Young’s Kew, Abbot, Speckled hen and John smiths on hand pump!
They do serve food, but we didn’t sample any.
From a canal boaters point of view this is worth the 10 minute walk from Bridge 50, as there is also some where to buy supplies. 24/09/09
