Friendly locals pub in the middle of town. We enjoyed a game of pool and I would happily call again.

The Lion is situated on Kenilworths main shopping street.
Once inside there is a single irregular shaped room with the bar facing, the room is bare boarded, the seating bench type to the front and normal tables and chairs elsewhere, there are a couple of tall tables and chairs to the left, there is a pool table to the rear left.
There were five real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Black Sheep bitter which went down very well, the other beers i noted were Doom Bar,Bombardier and Brew X1.
Decent background music was playing on our Saturday morning visit, they were also knocking out plenty of breakfasts which started at 99p this looked decent enough for that price.
We quite liked this pub.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Lion
Obviously an old town-centre pub, but much of the traditional character has been lost over the years as the layout has been opened out to form a 'L'-shaped bar. Basic furniture and decor, with many sports TVs and pool at the back. Five handpumps, offering Pride and Broadside plus Ansells Mild (£2.00) and - slightly surprising - Purity UBU and Mad Goose.
