Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Rule & Compass
Despite this being in the village centre, this is a very basic pub with only one of its pair of bars in use, and that only just. Plain furniture and no decoration to speak of, so the pool table at the far end is really the only point of note. Two very disused handpumps, so a quick John Smith's (£3.90) it had to be from the limited keg options.
