Last Orders has banquette seating either side of the entrance and up the right-hand wall faced by an L-shaped bar up the left. There is a dartboard on the left front wall and televisions throughout were airing Sky Sports News. Standard keg and Birra Moretti were available and one of the two hand pumps was in operation drawing Robinson’s Unicorn. My visit was on a recent Monday evening so it was quiet, however the handful of locals were having some good banter. I’d pop back in if passing.

Called in on the way back from my self-guided ICB tour purely as I needed a wee. This appears to be a Robbies pub which was subject to a makeover not long ago. It's done fairly well with much perimeter banquette seating in bottle green/red and the original (?) floor tiling remains in the middle of the pub. The friends and family memorial board is a really nice touch. Just Unicorn on pump which was in surprisingly good nick (NBSS 3.5) – less is often more in these kind of pubs. Not half bad, a solid local. 6.5

Fairly rough pub but I always enjoy visiting. John Smiths is the best in town.

This place is now an open plan room but there are still different areas. The bar counter is to the front left and there is a pool table at the rear. There are TVs everywhere.
The bar has two hand pumps which had one unused and Lancaster Bomber (£2.25) now brewed by Marston. This is a beer that like Doom Bore tastes like they forgot to add any hops but was in good nick. I took it to an area to the front right that looked like it was TV free but was dismayed to look up to the left to see a TV on the wall.
I won't be returning.
