Strongers . left this review about The Swan with Two Necks

There was no live music in the Swan with Two Necks during a recent Monday evening visit, but there was a well-attended bingo session in progress with the caller set up on the central stage. They were a friendly bunch, as was the barmaid who made me feel very welcome. Standard and premium keg was available alongside Pardal which is a German beer that has, apparently, been ‘fine-tuned by beer drinkers’. Banquette seating wraps around the exterior walls of the pub making the stage a focal point for the regular live music. I observed the bingo from a high table next to the curved bar counter in the right rear corner, it was a bit of an eye opener if I’m being honest, good fun. Looking at their Facebook page it seems that the landlady of 19 years has now just left so hopefully the pub is remaining open.

Very much a live music pub with a stage dominating the main room. Two real ales usually on but only Manchester Pale Ale on on this visit. Not the best seating around but as it was an afternoon I had plenty of choice. Outside area at the back which looked small.

When i went in this pub it was called the Chestergate and it was a Tetley tied house.
This pub was in the middle of Macclesfield and it had been done up inside and was mainly a young persons pub, there was one real ale on the bar which was Walker bitter and this was very nice.
