ROB Camra left this review about The Priory
Very modern looking bar which was packed on our Monday lunchtime visit. There are dining tables and chairs at the front, sofa's and armchairs to the rear and a few high tables and chairs in the middle. There's also a large fish tank in the middle of the pub. The same 3 beers on the bar as were available when Ray called in, so I'm guessing these are permanent. My pint of Workie Ticket was in decent nick and Ms CAMRA liked the red wine. They have live music 4 nights a week. I've no idea where they put the bands as it's not that big. It's a decent enough place, but it was my least favourite of the 5 pubs we visited in Tynemouth.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Priory
This large trendy pub is well worth a look in. Three ales on handpump Mordue Workie Ticket and Black Sheep. I went for their Priory ale, which is brewed by Tetleys. There is a couple of Union Jack settees, the front end of a mini over the door and some paintings by a local artist. Look out for the Cheryl Cole painting. Serve food.
