I believe this is now a Greene King pub, but only one Greene King ale was present at the bar at the time of my visit. The four cask ales available were Monkeytown Mild by Phoenix, Road Runner by Mobberley, Greene King IPA and Boltmaker by Tim Taylor. I had the Road Runner which was good and £1.50 for a half. Nice modern interior, clearly a food pub but had a nice chilled out vibe during the day, and definitely somewhere I would consider bringing the wife for a nice but non-pretentious meal.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Golden Fleece
Food-led village inn given a thorough refurbishment in a semi-modern style. Various rooms have been partially opened out to leave a generally 'U'-shaped layout around the central bar area. Large beer garden at the back, set beside the Bridgwater Canal towpath. Appears to be an unbranded Greene King house, with the four real ales on handpump being: IPA, Old Speckled Hen, Robinson's Dizzy Blonde and Road Runner from the Mobberley Beer House (£2.95).

Pleasant enough pub. Real ales available. Beer garden overlooking the canal though you won't see the canal much if you're seated. They have their own beer Golden Fleece which is brewed by Brakespeare.

This is a large rambling pub with many separate areas but most of the internal walls removed. There were two sets of two hand pumps, with Thwaites Wainwright and Sharps Doom Bar available. The beer was a little on the cold side but in good condition, and reasonably priced at £2.40 a pint. This pub was better than I expected.
