Walking in (finding the right door as there are decoys!) I was surprised to find quite a good bar - bright, lively and with some good music playing. It is in one long room, with the counter down one side. Disappointingly it only had one cask ale on, and that was Hobgoblin Gold, although admittedly it was in good nick. I have been to much worse.

a good pub. always busy u always have to stand. i always pop in for a pint when in newcastle
pint quality outstanding.
friendliness outstanding.
atmosphere very good.
cleanliness very good.
toilets . very good.
prices very cheap.
food toasties only but ok.
drinks served Carling,fosters , John smiths, Guinness,real ales, etc etc.
serving time excellent .

Was great Bikers bar however has gone more commercial. Still one of thr best pubs in toon now
