Real Ale Ray left this review about Brandling Villa
A large traditional dog friendly pub, where customers are encouraged to bring their canine pals along. They even have bottled beer for your pet, called Snuffle Dog Beer and I also noticed lots of doggy treats being sold over the bar. We entered through the side road entrance where we encountered a few dogs in before us. The pub consists of two large rooms, with the bar in the right hand side lounge and a stage for gigs in the other. The flooring is boarded throughout, with the bar and counter top finished in a dark stained timber. The ceilings were white and coffee, with deep purple walls.
There were several feature walls displaying pump clips. Ten ales and two ciders, we went for the High House Farm Auld Hemp and Fallen Brewing Local Motive. The beer was sold in pints or schooners, which measured two thirds and a schooner cost £2.15.
