Very much a food pub, although there are some high stools round the bar for the local drinkers, resulting in automatic bar blocking. The rest is all dining tables and chairs, with decor more drawing room than the usual faux rustic of such places. A cheery welcome though, and a competent if unexciting range of cask ales: London Pride, Abbot, Doom Bar and Harveys Best, although sadly the condition of the latter belied its name. There is considerable tableage outside, and a couple of large screens in the bar hinted at major event coverage but weren't in use.
