About the nearest you are going to get to a proper pub in the area. An ordinary, slightly mismatched collection of furnishings and some food but certainly not a restaurant, so generally quite a publike feel. A row of handpumps offered Harveys Best, Otter Bitter and TT Landlord and there were some fair 60's classics playing. A Friary Meux plaque hangs outside, although I suspect that was from the 1980's era rebrand rather than an original.

A medium sized pub ,The Queen Victoria seems to be very much a locals community pub,a loosely L shaped room, slightly modernised , wrapped around a semi- circular bar upon which are three hand pumps and some normal keg offerings, two of the pumps were in use, Otter Bitter which as expected was rather ordinary and presumably a house beer named Queen Victoria Ale 3.7%, described on the chalkboard as a classic 90's ale ,what ever one of those are, I probably would not have liked it anyway.Live music was advertised as was a quiz, serves food although not Sunday evenings or Mondays apparently. There is a small beer garden to the rear and some seating outside the front of the pub. I didn't find this pub to be anything special.
