The Sun is a large looking pub that is situated at the end of the High Street next to a busy road junction.
The pub is an Hall & Woodhouse tied house,so i was well pleased to going it it.
Once inside the bar faces in a decent sized L shaped room,it is carpeted and has very comfortable bench seating and chairs,the left side is down two steps,there is more comfy bench seating and chairs here,plus some normal tables and chairs.
There were four Hall & Woodhouse real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Badger Best,which went down well,the other real ales were Fursty Ferret,Hopping Hare and Tanglefoot.
Background music was playing,which i like to hear.
I thought this was a very smart and comfortable pub to have a drink in.

Quite a large pub carpeted throughout with three opened out bar areas, six pumps in all, all being Badger beers with a couple doubled up,I cant say I particularly cared for this place and found it slightly corporate in its general feel.

Badger beer pub. Had a quiz night, not sure if still does - not a bad pub.

Sells real ale. The smokey atmostphere hits you as soon as you walk in the door. TV's dotted about the pub. Has bar billiards instead of a pool table. The back room area is very dark.
