Soulless modern shop conversion, which stretches quite a long way back from the street, with tables and chairs to the front and a series of circular banquettes at the back. Pretty well what you might expect from a Slug & Lettuce, though the bar does at least have a set of handpumps, with TEA and Tribute available at time of visit, and Doom Bar and Hobgoblin Gold with clips reversed. Condition of those sampled was tolerable but not great however. Somewhere to go at the east end of town where other pubs have been lost, but the west end offers much better pubs.
