An old roadside pub regularly closed and reopened of late. There is one main bar room as you enter with a side room either side, one houses a pool table the other just general seating ,both satellite spaces have open walk through access. Clearly an old pub, the many oak beams that appear original show the signs of time as well as woodworm, the floor is a mix of wooden boards and stone tiles. There is a TV screen and on my early visit it was tuned in to a local radio station, I believe livesport is shown. The bar itself much newer than the surrounding beams was of varnished Beech upon which were two pumps along with a few normal keg offerings , beers on were Deuchars IPA and a re badged beer(origin unknown)probably a \Caledonian effort 'It was drinkable but not in anyway remarkable .Its not a bad pub but not one to go out of your way for.
