This really is a hotel so I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that its lounge was exactly what I expect a hotel lounge to be – sofas, low tables and minimalist in all respects. There was a small bar counter, that was minimalist to the point of being completely bare – no handpumps, taps, or lager fonts. I suppose there must have been a fridge with some bottled beers in it, but I didn’t stay to find out. Not really the sort of place I like to drink, but fine if you want to sit on a sofa with a G&T I suppose.
