Updating earlier review: still much the same although now a Chef & Brewer. At least showing an interest in draught ales, with a local brew alongside the usual national brands, and Cask Marque listing. There is a reasonable bar area as well as the rambling dining areas.

Large family-dining sort of place, in huge grounds off the old London - Portsmouth road . Reasonably kept though, and quite pleasant provided you avoid predictable busy times when it can be crawling with children.
