What was once an old spit and sawdust type boozer now refurbed for wider appeal, a single knocked through room, bright and airy in feel, mostly standard seating with a few high tables thrown in for good measure. Fairly well attended on a Monday afternoon, but this did include a couple of the barmaids mates with their offspring and associated noise. There are just the two handpumps, one was vacant whilst the other though clipped with a Tribute badge had an upturned glass on the handle, I had a a Brixton Reliance as the rest of the keg range looked fairly standard stuff. I guess theyre making a decent go of this place given it's about a mile from the town centre but it's not really for me.
