Big modern pub close to station, laid out as one large L-shaped area wrapped round the bar and kitchen. One of the three adjacent 'circuit' pubs, it probably teems on a Saturday night but midweek it doesn't have a very welcoming feel to it, the space generally being too large and in need of breaking up. There is a pool table at one end and a dartboard to the side, which was actually being used, plus sports TV screens, which weren't. Unfortunately the real ales are limited to IPA and DB, so the beer is not much of a draw. The rating might be a little harsh, but the pub could be much better.
