Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Horseshoes Inn

With no pubs left in Cockfield village itself, the Horseshoes located on the main A1141 is the nearest pub to the village. It is currently a thatched building with one large room inside, sub-divided by a fireplace. There was a separate room off to the left, but that did not appear to be in use, as it was filled with clutter. All tables were made out for Sunday lunch. So, we retreated to the roadside garden at the front.

Dogs and children are welcomed. Board games can be found in one corner of the room.

On the bar, there were 2 cask ales. The house beer is Horseshoes Bitter (Black Sheep Best), with a guest of Morland Old Session Hen. A Greene King Abbot clip was turned round. Greene King Level Head was on keg, with Aspall's being the cider.
