Oggwyn Great left this review about Hickorys Smokehouse
Typical Hickorys in an interesting building , usual friendly staff and pretty busy on a Wednesday lunchtime .

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Cheshire Cheese
Large Greene King roadhouse-style pub, having reverted from its previous Indian restaurant incarnation. Currently looking a bit lost on the southern outskirts of Crewe, but in a potentially prime location with all the building work going on in the area. Semi-modern furniture and light decor in the various seating areas around the irregularly-shaped bar, with value food offer menus on the tables. Pool table and dartboard. Front terrace and beer garden to the rear. Two banks of three handpumps, but just St Edmunds (£3.00, and with a hand-written clip) available, with Landlord having just gone off apparently. Under temporary management.

Kez Challacombe left this review about Cheshire Cheese
This once great pub is now more or less an Indian resturaunt, it does have one real ale on at the time of my visit. The layout is still much as it used to be, still has play areas outside.
