A lovely little Adnams village pub, nice and floral outside with two rooms at right angles inside. The main one, possibly an Edwardian extension, has a high ceiling with cross beams (no idea what the technical term is) and it's all very tidy, with matching dark red seat pads and more flowers on the tables. The ancient retired gamekeeper propped up at the bar added just the right colour. More tables and a tented structure were outside. Ales on were Ghost Ship and Southwold Bitter, in good form.
