The Brushmakers Arms is a very small corner pub.
Once inside there was a small oblong shaped room which ran across the right frontage of the pub, there was a very small bar close to the entrance, the floor was tiled, the seating was leather bench seating and chairs, there was a darts board to the far right and a TV showing Man Utd lose to Newcastle Utd.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Thwaites bitter which was a decent well kept beer, the other beers were Thwaites Lancaster Bomber and Joules Slumbering Monk.
This is a really nice unaltered pub,the sort that you went in years ago,but this one is still going strong.
I walked to this pub from Stone,it took about 20 minutes from the Royal Exchange, well worth the walk.
Give this pub a go if in the area.

A gem of a pub. A choice of house beers superbly kept plus guest ales. NO keg beer. Spotlessly clean and full of nostalgia. Bar, snug and beer garden. Natives are friendly.
