Steve C left this review about Village Tavern

The Village Tavern is a very small single roomed pub on the corner of Wolstanton High Street. The bar, supporting standard keg and an unused hand pump, is in the centre of the left-hand wall with seating in front and behind. A dartboard is located to the right of the entrance and a raised area with a couple of tables and a fireplace is in the right rear corner. A small plasma screen is on the rear wall, but there was no sign of live sports being advertised, not that this is a bad thing. There was some background music playing and I noted that karaoke was advertised for the upcoming Saturday evening. My visit was on a recent Tuesday night when there was one other customer, but he and the landlady were very friendly making my stay enjoyable.
