Situated at the main entrance to Chester Racecourse. A traditional pub that certainly hasn't modernised for the race goers. A small servery as you enter with another room to the rear. Served just the one real ale on this visit. I assume its full of horsey dullards on race days but was very quite on my afternoon visit.

A nice looking detached brick and white rendered building, with beer patio, right outside Chester racecourse.
The interior is decent enough, but i cant give a full description as i was gutted to find that all the real ales were off and there was no keg MILD even, so we left. A big shame, as it seems a decent place and i would like to have stopped. I wanted to return during our few days visit, but alas we ran ot of time. One for next time!
