A strange 60s looking Swiss cottage styled pitch roof pub, with a bit of stone cladding.
The interior is shared with Nabeebs Indian Restaurant, leaving the pub itself in the one room i think. This room is open plan and with amazing use of space, this room is a microcosm of a whole pub, with darts, pool, bar area and lounge area, with sofas, on a slightly higher level. There is also Sky TV. Decor is wallpaper in red and white, though the style is reversed on some walls. A few pictures of collections of cigarette cards are on the walls. Service was fine, clientele nearly all blokes playing in a dart match, but seemed friendly.
Beer; tap stuff, with Davenports and a decent enough Highgate MILD. There was Backhouse Brewery's The Hoard and Spekky Hen on handpull.
Worth a visit, the only problem was the smell of the curry pervading through the pub - if you dont like it, or are hungry with the dinner waiting at home, it might not be your cup of tea - alternatively, if you fancy a curry then a better range of beers than most Indian restuarants, then this could be for you - no idea what the food is like!
