The Fitzwilliam Arms is a large pub / hotel that is situated on one of those horrible roads that have industrial units and modern shopping areas.
I was not expecting that much from this pub as it did'nt look that good from the outside,once inside the main pub area is on the left side,there is a decent sized oblong shaped room which had bench seating and normal tables and chairs,this room was packed with a pre wedding crowd,so i went into a room to the far left,this was a very comfortable small square shaped room it had very comfy bench seating and normal tables and chairs,a TV was showing bike racing,a part island bar served both rooms,there was a seperate area to the rear left which had a pool table and bench seating.
To my surprise there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Chantery New York Pale Ale which went down very well,the other beer was Chantery Diamond Stout.
The room to the far left is quite pubby and comfy,i quite liked this place.
