Will Larter left this review about Cottage Of Content

Two room corner pub, the front door leads into an old fashioned lounge, probably originally two small rooms, but the furniture looks like it's from the 1970's. The bar is between this and the larger back room, which has modern high tables and chairs, with a pool table to one side. No cask beers, and a half of Guinness was not available (they use those 440ml cans) so I had a half of John Smiths which was cold but acceptable (£4/pint).

Alan Winfield left this review about Cottage Of Content

The Cottage of Content is a three storey stand alone pub that is situated next to a busy road junction.
Once inside the front room was oblong in shape and ran the width of the pub, there was comfy bench seating facing the bar and small stools and chairs, there was a TV on showing some rubbish daytime programme, this room had a bit of a 70s feel to it,the room to the rear was a decent size and was more like a bar room.
There were no real ales on the bar,the three keg bitters were John Smiths Magnet which was a decent drink,Stones bitter and John Smiths Extra cold.
This was a pleasant enough pub to have a drink in.
