The St Leger Tavern, or Biscuit Billy’s as it’s now known, had the disco lights spinning and DJ music blaring out when I passed on a recent Tuesday evening, but it was completely empty so I decided to give it a miss. Fast forward a couple of hours, and a few more beers, to when I spotted some people through the window and decided to pop in for a half to tick it off. Standard and premium keg were available from the serving counter up the left-hand wall. There’s some high tables up the right and some green banquettes are found in the left rear behind the counter, but the majority of space is standing room only to pack as many in at the weekend. The service was sullen, get another job if you hate it so much! This place isn’t aimed at me so I’ll not be returning.

small pub. closed for refurb though last time i was there. good pub though. especially if you like vodka red bull you can get a jug for a tenner
