The Shaw Inn is a sturdy looking bare brick built pub that is quite close to the Longcar Inn.
Once inside the bar faces in a largish oblong shaped room to the front,there is a raised area to the front left which has bench seating and chairs,there is more bench seating and chairs on the right side of the room,there are two small separate rooms to the rear left and right,the rear left room is set aside for a pool table,the rear right room has bench seating and small stools.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of John Smiths Smooth Crap,which was crap.
Background music was playing to an almost empty pub.
This is a decent pub,just a shame there was not one real ale on the bar.
