As Mr Great said though there was no Chinese takeaway stuff when I was in.

Pub at the top of Tattenhall main street , the pub appears to be quite old but has been opened out over the years , as you enter there is a small area to the left with a dartboard and TV , to the right is a large fireplace with a volcanic fire going on my visit , there is recessed seating by the window and an old looking love seat , a large shelf high above the fire has a selection of brass items , buckets , watering cans etc , the bar counter runs along the left , the back of the pub has a pool table and a small dining area , the back door leads to a small patio .
Usual taps on a couple of T bars plus four handpulls , two on with Cains Bitter the house beer and a regular changing guest beer on the other , Hook Norton Wrekin Bitter(rebadged Hooky Bitter?)which was OK .
The kitchen is Chinese , take aways are popular but you can eat in .
Service was pretty good and the locals friendly , its a decent pub
