Good looking back street pub, with double bay windowed front. Retains a four roomed layout, though with doors removed and openings enlarged. The bar counter is on the right, with what might be termed a drinking corridor facing left, and the room on the front right having its own serving hatch. The pub is traditionally furnished throughout, and if serving one or two cask beers would be a genuine destination pub. As it was, I had to make do with a half of Murphy's stout, which was an improvement on the Guinness at the previous pub, but not good enough to have me pencilling a return visit into my calendar.
