Strongers . left this review about The Black Bull Inn

The entrance to the Black Bull Inn is via a small conservatory that leads to a corridor where access can be gained to front and rear bars, the latter being lights out during a recent Tuesday afternoon visit. The thin front bar, that runs the width of the pub, has tile floored seating in the left-hand side and an L-shaped stool lined bar counter mid-way along the rear wall that faces seating and a centrally placed exposed brick fireplace on the front wall. To the right is a wooden floored seating area with a dartboard and a pool table that was being played on by a couple of young lads who were the only other customers. The television was off and there was no background music. There was music being piped into the rear garden, so maybe the governor wanted some peace in the pub whilst he sat at a table doing the accounts. The garden is large with patio seating, some of which is covered, and some children’s climbing apparatus which is found at the rear. The service was polite, but the hand pump was unused leaving standard keg and Madri as the draught options. This pub is too far out of the way to warrant a revisit.
