Old Blue left this review about Laceby Arms
This establishment was originally two separate pubs, the Waterloo Inn and the Nag's Head, reportedly the closest together pubs in the country. They were combined in 1990 as the Laceby Arms. More recently, the right hand half has reverted to being the Nag's Head, whilst, whilst the left has become an Indian restaurant called Mitu, although they are parts of the same establishment, with an interconnecting door. The Nag’s side is fairly basic, a single room pub with green walls, brown vinyl and carpet flooring, tables and chairs and banquette seating, making it feel like it was a traditional pub which had been given an estate pub style makeover. There is a jukebox on the wall, and a pool table to the rear on which the barmaid was playing with the other person present during my early afternoon visit. Sky sports was on a number of screens, and karaoke was advertised as entertainment on Friday nights. Amongst the drinks, two handpulls were drawing Doombar and Black Sheep Bitter (£2.80/pint). Service was friendly and efficient, the barmaid immediately breaking off her game of pool to serve me as I entered. I didn’t find this pub particularly appealing, but better than others in the area.
