E TA left this review about Moonshine

Previously The Telegraph Inn, then spending 2 decades as an antique shop, this pub reopened as Moonshine in 2019. It fronts onto the main road but does have a good sized paved garden at the back. There is a single bar room inside, a servery at the side, wooden floored, and contains a piano. Of note is that much of the furniture is reinforced with sheets of aluminium, a testament to their late night clientele. There is no cask ale, or indeed any draught beer or cider, though there is a large selection of bottled beers at high prices. They sell cheap and nasty cocktails designed for maximum intoxication rather than enjoyment, and they cater for low-budget alcohol-fuelled parties during the weekend. The staff were pleasant enough, but this establishment has little going for it, certainly not somewhere I feel I need to revisit.
