The entrance of the Cherry Orchard leads to a tile floored bar area with a padded wooden topped counter up the mid left wall. In the front left is a wooden floored games room with a pool table, and bagatelle which seems to be very popular in these parts, there must be a Chester bagatelle league the amount of tables I saw. To the right of the entrance is a carpeted seating area with red banquettes around the walls and a dartboard. At the rear is some raised seating with framed football shirts and multiple televisions that were airing Sky Sports News and Racing TV while some background music played during my recent Monday late afternoon visit when the pub was obviously quiet. The service was polite, but only one of the three hand pumps was in operation drawing TT Landlord. Standard and premium keg were also available alongside Brixton Lager and Beavertown’s Neck Oil. The cask range isn’t going to pull many in, but this is a decent just out of town boozer that I’d certainly use if I lived locally.
